1. What TCM Pattern is

TCM Pattern offers an educational questionnaire that interprets your answers using the framework of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) "patterns" — an interpretive system used within that tradition. The output describes a pattern, not a disease, and reflects a body of traditional theory rather than a clinical examination.

By using TCM Pattern you accept these terms. If you do not, please don't use the site.

2. Not medical advice

• TCM Pattern does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or prevent any condition, and does not recommend herbal dosages.
• Your result is not a diagnosis and is not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor or licensed practitioner.
• If you answer yes to any of the safety questions in the questionnaire, we will not show you a personalised result and will direct you to appropriate care instead.
• Never start, stop, or change a prescribed medication because of something you read here. Talk to the clinician who prescribed it.
• If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or giving this to a child, speak to a clinician before acting on any of it. Some acupressure points are not appropriate during pregnancy, and this is flagged where relevant.

3. Eligibility

TCM Pattern is for people aged 18 and over.

4. Payments and refunds

Paid reports are digital products delivered instantly. Once a report is delivered we cannot offer a refund, except where required by law. If something went wrong — a failed download, a duplicate charge, a report that never arrived — email support@tcmpattern.com and we will sort it out.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may be converted by your payment provider. Any taxes or duties are your responsibility.

5. What you may do with your report

Your report is for your personal use. Please don't resell it, publish it, or present it as professional medical advice to other people.

6. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, TCM Pattern is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on its content. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

7. Availability

We may change, suspend, or stop the service at any time. We'll try to give notice where it's practical.

8. Intellectual property

The questionnaire, the pattern library, the report text and the site design belong to TCM Pattern. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without written permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing here removes any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of your own country.
